Experience

 

I started out photographing wildlife, and people kept telling me I should take my photography further and go pro. I knew my camera and lenses, but moving into portraits meant learning a whole new skill: flash photography.


So I studied, practiced, and experimented. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d enjoy shaping light—seeing how a change in its direction or softness could completely transform a portrait.


Wildlife photography is where I started. Portrait photography has given me a new way to enjoy what I love.
